Permanent Bee Care & Apiary Bank
A permanent home for honeybees. A lasting resource for every participating village.
The project concept
We propose establishing a Permanent Bee Care and Apiary Bank in every participating village.
Bee colonies that farmers no longer require after a pollination season can be brought back to the village apiary bank, where trained personnel can maintain, strengthen and multiply the colonies. The colonies can subsequently be made available to other farmers for pollination services or to new beekeepers.
